Necromancy 102 February Assignment - Silence

Conrad had all but fought his way to complete the assignment. Spiritual things, like necromancy, comes harder to him than mental things do so it was challenging, to say the least. But just as he managed to get the spirit out, the spirit simply stared at him, bright white orbs (its eyes, Conrad guessed) staring him down like he was a child who disturbed someone's nap. He stared right back, nervousness clamping his mouth shut. A shaky smile found its way on his face, eyes blinking curiously. What was the spirit thinking? What was it doing?

The spirit, with narrowed eyes, circled him, warily observing him. Conrad lets his eyes follow it's black silhouette, smile still on his face and questions building up in his head.

But the spirit stayed silent. It shake its head with a small 'hmph' and promptly went back into the dagger. Conrad had simply stared down the dagger, blinking before he let out a loud, "Wait, why did you return to the dagger!?"

That's why when he submitted his assignment to the professor, the first thing he said was, "You're so cruel, professor..."
